Hailing from the North-East of England, Paul began his musical career
playing the trumpet in his school orchestra. Beginning the guitar at age
fourteen, Paul honed his chops playing jazz standards in his father's trio.
He also studied classical guitar. His love for country and bluegrass began
in Tulsa, OK, where he also learned to square dance, two-step and
Cotton-Eyed Joe.

Paul plays electric and acoustic guitar in a wide variety of styles,
including rock, jazz, blues and country. He has worked in a big band,
musical theater pit group, and a number of local variety and country acts.
Recent highlights include opening for Randy Travis and Mark Wills. His
favorite players include jazz masters Barney Kessel and Joe Pass, rock
greats Mark Knopfler and Larry Carlton, country pickers Vince Gill, Brent
Mason and Albert Lee, and acoustic gurus Tommy Emmanuel, Adrian Legg and
Doyle Dykes.

Around town, Paul also plays with Europa, the AcrossTown Bus, and the
worship group at Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church.

In his other life, Paul runs his own company providing online marketing and
web design services.
